Adding Georgian Bars to the internal construction of a sealed window unit is a simple way to replicate classic old Georgian style windows. We offer up to 5 bars both horizontal and vertical. The Bars are available in various colours and woodgrain colours along with different widths.

If required, please select your Duplex/Back to Back configuration. We will automatically calculate the distant between each bar based on the overall size of your unit and the amount of bars required.

We supply leaded Double Glazed units for new builds or to replacement damaged or failed units. We can customize each individual unit so the patterns follow through on the surrounding windows/units. In some cases you will be contacted for more information to ensure we accurately reproduce what is required. Please see our many formats within the Lead pulldown options. The lead we use come in both 6mm, 9mm and 12mm widths and are available in a variety of finishes.

We can supply Glass Sealed Units with steps to suit your requirements. 'Stepped Units' are when one pane of the double glazed unit is larger than the other. This creates a step that can be for several purposes. The common use for stepped units are conservatory roof units and skylight units. On Conservatory roofs this is used as a drip for water to flow into guttering and keeping moisture clear of the double glazed seal. Another reason for a step is pictured below where it is used for skylights and allows the upper pane to be placed onto the upstands and again allowing water to drip clear of the seal and used to cover/waterproof the upstands. The website calculates your unit price based on the number of edges that requires a step. Once you have placed the order our customer service team will contact you to discuss your step requirements.

Shaped Units inc. Raked Tops, Arches and other shapes are available as an extra for your sealed unit/s. For a single straight cut (Raked/Triange units) simply select 'Single Cut Shape'. For circles, arches, templates and any other shapes select the 'Multi-Cut Shape' option. The website calculates your unit price based on the option you have chosen. Once you have placed the order our customer service team will contact you to discuss your shaped requirements. You can either supply us a drawing or send us actual templates to match.

We can supply your Triple Glazed Unit with a pre-cut hole ready for your pet-flap or vent to be mounted into. We will require the size/diameter of the whole along with the hole location.

Precision is essential when ordering heavier triple-pane glass. Please choose one of the two measurement methods below:
Due to the weight and complexity of triple glazing, removing the unit gives the most reliable measurement.
Step 1: Extract the Glass
Step 2: Record Dimensions
Measure the exact height and width from edge to edge in millimeters.
Step 3: Confirm Overall Depth
Measure the total thickness across all three panes and spacer bars.
Tip: Triple units are usually thick (36mm–44mm). If unsure, use our Optical Glass Gauge .
If removal isn't feasible, measure while the unit remains fitted, but make sure you calculate the rebate correctly.
Step 1: Sightline Assessment
Measure the visible glass area tight to the beads and gasket.
Step 2: Determine Coverage
Remove one bead to see how deep the unit sits. Add this depth ×2 to your sightline measurement.
Tip: Avoid guesswork. Verify using our Measuring Tools .
Step 3: Total Thickness Check
Open the sash and use calipers to measure from the exterior pane to the interior pane.
Critical Weight Note: Triple glazing is significantly heavier than standard glass. Always measure in millimeters and confirm your hinges can support the weight.
